The G-7 Series: A Year-Ender Report: The P. Del Rosario 70K Opening Tournament

Dota 2: The 3 Boys, 2 Girls Format

 

The tournament that's been known not only for the year's biggest prize pool but also for the unique line-up requirements for DOTA 2 to "break the monotony." We required two girls and three boys for the DOTA 2 Teams irrespective of roles.  

Sure it drew flak from the community, but it was generally well received nonetheless. The tournament turns out great. Everybody had a lot of fun. G-7 P. Del Rosario Branch was successfully inaugurated, and the winners went home 70K richer.

Will this become our standard format?  We don't know. All we know is that it set an excellent precedent. A game changer so to speak.
